What is an apprenticeship with Impact Handling?
Our apprenticeship is a three-year engineering programme that is designed to teach both vital theory and hands on real-world experiences which is what makes a highly skilled engineer.
At Impact Handling we see apprenticeships as important to the growth of our company and a vital component in our well-oiled machine! We use a blended approach to apprentice development which encompasses hands on engineering, mentoring, and coaching as well as detailed and constructive feedback. You are provided with a full tool chest as well as all PPE and safety equipment which sets you up for a successful career with us.
We support you through the programme from start to finish whether that be working with our senior engineers or having time to write up your college assessments. Most of our apprentices move in to engineering positions after course completion but there are also opportunities within operations and sales, this is just the start as our wider UK and European operations offer further opportunities for progression and development.
